Max Guy Ropes

Max Guy Ropes (also called guide ropes in South Africa) are manufactured from high-quality 4mm braided cord. The braided cord provides unprecedented strength and durability with zero flexibility.

All our ropes come with Max Rope Adjusters. The combination of the braided cord and the high-quality rope adjuster ensures no slippage of the adjuster under tension. These guy ropes will not break and have long-lasting durability. In conjunction with Max Pegs™ it will keep your tent where you pitched it.

Max Guy Ropes come in 2 sizes: a 3.5m and a 7m double rope and in three colours: Grey, Green and Reflective Orange.

The Reflective Orange Guy Ropes are made from the same braided material that the grey and green anchor ropes are made of. However, a thin film of polyester or polyethylene terephthalate (PET) has been woven into the rope.

PET is a thermal plastic that, when compared to other plastics, has superior tensile strength and excellent dimensional stability. It also has slow moisture absorption, good retention of physical properties over a wide temperature range, superior UV resistance, excellent electrical properties, good optical clarity and high gloss. This high gloss provides the reflectivity. The Reflective Guy Rope is available in bright, visible orange colour to enhance guy rope illumination at night.

Reflective Guy Ropes can be used in addition to Max Peg Reflectors making anchor ropes even more visible at night.
