Description

The Skeloton Storm Kit 5.0+ is an essential addition to your outdoor setup. It offers a great solution for securing tents, gazebos and tarps in challenging weather. It includes five Guy Straps with springs, five pegs and five Screw Pegs all neatly packaged in a canvas bag.

The Guy Strap replaces a Guy Rope, using 25mm wide webbing on one side, permanently sewn onto the spring. With a total length of 3m, the strap adjusts using a heavy-duty cam-buckle positioned 600mm from the spring.

The dual-rate progressive spring brings an advanced design, combining two different spring rates in a single component. It begins with a lower spring rate, shifting to a higher rate, making it ideal for wind and storm support in camping and outdoor activities.

The Tough Pegs outperform standard wire pegs. Their clever head design and bevel point allow better penetration into extremely hard ground. The head locks into the ground to prevent rotation, while the bevel point makes it easy to drive through tough surfaces. Made from high-tensile steel, each Tough Peg is 8mm x 350mm and treated with a passivation process, preventing rust and corrosion.

The Screw Pegs are designed for use in extremely hot environments, the steel hook is made of spring steel that has been plated and has a Heat Resistant O-ring to keep it attached to the screw peg. There are no plastic components that the South African sun could damage. The pegs are 200mm long and 10mm thick with a spring steel hook to hold spring kit in place, but will also work with any guy rope.
