Stafross Tent Center Poles provide reliable replacements for broken or lost poles, essential for maintaining tent structure and stability, designed for use with Stafross Army Tents, Military Spec Army Tents and Bell Tents. Each pole divides into two parts of roughly equal length, allowing for convenient storage and transport.

Stafross offers two types of center poles: Military spec hot-dip galvanized and Standard cold- or painted-galvanized. Hot-dip galvanized poles are crafted to military specifications, providing exceptional durability and resistance to harsh conditions. In contrast, cold- or painted-galvanized poles offer a more affordable solution, ideal for standard applications that do not require extreme.

Galvanizing adds a protective zinc coating to base metals like steel, significantly increasing their strength, efficiency, and longevity. This process prevents rusting, making galvanized products suitable for demanding environments.

Cold galvanizing involves applying zinc-rich paint to the metal surface using brushes, rollers, spray guns, or even electroplating. Unlike regular paint, galvanized paint contains a bonding agent that helps zinc adhere to metal surfaces effectively, forming a strong, corrosion-resistant layer.

In hot-dip galvanizing, metal is immersed in molten zinc at temperatures around 450°C. This process fuses zinc with the outer metal layer, forming an alloy that tightly bonds to the surface.
